'The Lightbox was made in the spring of 2014 at Glasgow School of Art. The intention behind the work was to address mental illness and well-being, in particular Seasonal Affective Disorder but not exclusively. The work emits a spectacular bright light similar to the SAD-lights used to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder and the images act as guides for a calm state.' - Gemma Parsons
