Nothufaus Obliqua is a small artwork by the nature-inspired Dutch artist, Herman de Vries. A lonely leaf is placed modestly in the empty space of the frame. Being the only motive in the picture, the 'Nothufaus Obliqua' leaf is given great importance, despite its size. Nature’s beauty can be found everywhere, even in Edinburgh’s Botanical Gardens from where it is picked.
