Ross Flemington studied Fine Art at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and since his graduation in 1991, he has exhibited regularly in Edinburgh and also once, in a solo exhibition, at the Galerie Andreaus Bastion, in Munich in 1997. His most recent solo exhibition was the Complex Meat: Artscomplex, Edinburgh in 2012 and his work has also been presented several times at the Patriothall Gallery. As part of group exhibitions his work has been shown at Edinburgh College of Art, the Talbot Rice Gallery, and several times at the Royal Scottish Academy during the S.S.A. Exhibition. He has lately become member of Edinburgh Printmakers. His prints are concerned with objective images and are worked first on glass, and then etched onto solarplate. He is inspired by this process, as it generates subtle effects of light and shade.
