The inspiration for Susan's paintings is water. She is interested in the changing patterns of water's surface and capturing its atmosphere. She uses acrylic paint with range of techniques to depict water surface. Her recent work involves experimentation with imaginary undersea landscapes inhabited by formless creatures.
Susan attended Stevenson College N.C. in Art and Design, Telford College Foundation Art. She graduated with a B.A. Hons Fine Art: Painting, Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen in 1998. She has been employed as Gray's Former Students Annual Exhibition Custodian. Susan has also worked as guide at The Fruitmarket Gallery and DeMarco's Cultural Institute.
