Elspeth Lamb has a long history of contributing to printmaking around the world, and is considered one of the best printers on lithographic limestone, especially known for her beautiful, grease tusche washes. In her studio, she utilises both traditional lithography and digitised printed images from aluminium plate. The artist created Green Tea and Fuji-San after her residency situated at Lake Kawaguchiko in Japan during autumn 2017. The view was from her window there in which Mt Fuji was framed. It is a beautiful collage of different textures and shapes each bearing a weight of colour to create a playful and rich collage.
Winner of the Art in Healthcare Award - Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition 2017 with support from the Turtleton Trust.
