‘I have tried several art techniques in the past in the hope of finding a relaxing and enjoyable hobby but have found them difficult and stressful which clearly defeats the purpose.?The tutor Heather has magically taken the stress out of art for me by providing really simple techniques which actually give very pleasing results.?Heather is lovely, with a calming presence, she has a great awareness of people's needs and is very accommodating. Being part of a small group has been very helpful to me as I find it almost impossible to find the motivation to do things alone.?It's also great to have a space where I can make big mess with paints!’ Room for Art Gilmerton participant.
