Jack Firth RSW (1917-2010) had a distinguished career in teaching alongside his painting, where he captured the coastlines of Scotland and the countryside of France.
Hillside and Fallen Tree has been part of the collection since 2017 and for a number of years was on display in Migdale Hospital, Sutherland.
