When the artist, D Rhodes, was working on this piece, they were thinking about rain and gloomy weather, how it brings life and colour. D wasn’t thinking about drawing anything figuratively and they just made motions and put colour on the page. They realised it sort of looked like an aerial view, hence the title ‘Mapping the Rainy Season.’
