- Many cupboards and corners of my flat contain boxes and bags of paper ‘clutter’ letters, cards etc – some of it from my mother’s collection of clutter. Here I’ve sifted through it choosing a few paper memories to pin onto the dress. There are also tiny pieces of artwork attached.
- My German grandmother (die Oma) was a refugee having to flee from one part of Germany to another in the second world war. Here I have chosen memory scraps from my childhood attached to her carpet/rug beater.
