George Donald was born in Southern India in 1943. He studied at the Edinburgh College of Art, where he worked as a lecturer in drawing, painting and printmaking.
His work was inspired by his travels to to Japan, Korea, China, the United States and the United Arab Emirates, celebrating the cultures he discovered.
This work is currently on display at The William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre, Glasgow (2025).
