Our Caring Spaces project is continuing in Edinburgh, Dalkeith and Musselburgh both online and in person thanks to Creative Breaks funding from Shared Care Scotland. The groups of unpaid carers have been exploring Gelli Printing – producing enough prints to create a corridor gallery in Dalkeith.

“First session, we all met face to face. I’ve never done anything like this since high school. I absolutely loved it. I was trying to create a volcano 🌋 and I was pleasantly surprised how I managed to accomplish this with all the art supplies give to us in the session. I didn’t really care what other people thought (which is a first for me) and just loved being creative & doing my own thing. Without judgement. Thank you for this unique opportunity to help express myself in a creative way. Love it! Painting isn’t just for my kids…ha!” Caring Spaces participant Feb 2024.
