Fundraising motivation

Isabel: “My daughter, Sophie (aged 17) and I are planning to run the Edinburgh half marathon in May. We thought it would be a really exciting challenge to raise some money for a charity we believed in. Sophie has always loved art – painting and creating from an early age, and with my work in the NHS we thought that Art in Healthcare would combine our interests. I heard a report about the charity on the radio a few months ago and was inspired by the novel and creative approach it brought to healthcare. As we know, mental and psychological well-being is fundamental to physical health, and it appeared to me that Art in Healthcare was a small charity with the potential to make a big difference to people’s lives.”
