Final chance to visit Breathing Space exhibition at The Park Gallery, Falkirk

Breathing Space, an exhibition of RSA-associated artists presented by the Park Gallery in partnership with Art in Healthcare, will end this this Sunday 18 October.

The exhibition features a selection of artworks from the Art in Healthcare Collection, celebrating a commitment to improving lives through engaging with art and creativity. Featured artists include Ade Adesina, Sam Ainsley, Kirstie Behrens, Elizabeth Blackadder, Alfons Bytautas, Steven Campbell, Gordon Cameron, Andrew Cranston, Millie Laing-Tate, Elspeth Lamb, Millie Laing-Tate, Abigail McLellan, Hannah Mooney, Jim Pattison and Adrian Wiszniewski.

The exhibition also features Taking Creative Care, an evolving creative tool kit that has been developed, by artists Greer Pester and Ruby Pester. The creative tool kit includes 32 activities, that require little or no specialised art materials. A selection of 8 activities are displayed as part of the exhibition. They have been co-designed and created by participants, art therapists, occupational therapists, mindfulness practitioners, unpaid carers and those living with long term health conditions across Scotland.

A film by Matt Robinson, featuring artists Greer and Ruby (14 mins) demonstrates each of the activities and invites people to be inspired and creative, whilst looking at the exhibition, the surrounding museum and park. You can view the film online here
